Hope you all had a good holiday. This upcoming year I hope to restart the artwork. I have several projects in mind, I can start to work on 1 of 13 comics, some could be considered graphic novels, and of course I need to start painting, maybe to sell. The only down side I see is my PS3, it could be a distraction to productivity.

Due to the fact I am driving a 1990 Clunker, I may need to seriously consider doing art for cash. Plan was to get a PS3 this weekend but when I was checking the oil I saw a leaking hose, now I would fix it myself but it is a pressurized line and I have no way to re-pressurize it. So back to the mechanic and get to the drawing board.

Oh my brain, how sneaky you are. I figured I have at least 11 things I could work on, and then put a hold on thinking up any new projects. Well my brain thought up a "character" I could use for one of the projects. Then it grew into a project of its own. I got my hands on a drawing kit that teaches the basics of manga drawing, so I plan on making a graphic novel, I hope. The working title is Gun School, more on plot and characters later. I hope I can get one of my projects to see the light of day, some day. Till next post, with luck more news on one of the +12 projects calling my head home.

Some days at work I find myself thinking about character backgrounds and the such. Its kind of nice to have a job that doesn't require much brain power. While I was thinking about some stuff for one of my characters I gave him a hometown and state where he grew up in just for a joke to last a strip or two, but four hours later I had the states name, some cities, landmarks, and (seeing as putting all that into something just for one joke would be a waste) a nice little story arc. So once I burn out on games (soon I hope) I will start work on the pile of notes I made my self for this comic. I also need to finish a bunch of unfinished comics and I may "remaster" some old comics from high school. Till the next post.

I ordered some Bucky Balls the other day and they very fun to play around with. Once I learn how to use them I will have unlimited power... uh forget that. Also I find it kind of sad that The Skycrawlers isn't what I thought it would be. It is slow and kind of bland, the scenes with the dogfights are cool but the story linking them is kind of blah. It appears to be one of the animes that I kind of like but most likely will not watch again.
